I finally got my Daytum invite last night and naturally couldn’t wait to start playing with it this morning. However, it quickly became apparent that I couldn’t think of anything decent to graph with it.
No doubt loads of data and numbers silently add up against me behind the scenes, but how do I get hold of them myself? Aside from physically counting things and inputting them, I was struggling for ways to use it.
Here is a ‘display’ I made by counting how many emails I had in my inbox for the past 7 days. Quite cool, but I would prefer to display, and know, the average number of emails I had received per day for the past year, for example.
It would be cool to import data from other places that record things about my life (email / oyster / twitter / tumblr / last.fm / wattson / my bank etc).
