Inspired by James Birdle’s TweetBook, and Russell Davies’ unnotebook (here and here), I have decided to make 12 books containing every piece of content I sweat out onto the web for each month of this year. Every tweet, Facebook status, Flickr photo, Last.fm listen and Tumblr post (this post will end up in the April book). It’s the printed equivalent of the ‘Chatter’ column on my online portfolio.
I thought about doing something like in September last year – and wondered aloud whether there was a company that provided such a service in this tweet - but it turns out no one does.
I ordered my January 2009 book yesterday; I used Blurb this time, but will probably try out Lulu as well in later books as I found the Blurb software quite buggy. It tended to lose text formatting – and even characters – every time I changed something further up the document. I’m also a little concerned about how my photos are going print out – iPhone photos are not 300dpi.
